As Principal officer of Corporate Property Solutions, LLC, James S. Leanos has been a licensed commercial real estate broker since 1973 in the Baltimore-Washington region. For the first 47 years of his brokerage practice, he has specialized in Tenant/Buyer representation, redevelopment of urban sites, and the renaissance or redeployment of industrial and commercial properties nearing the end their originally conceived purposes life cycle. His transaction volume exceeded $1 Billion. In 2021, Mr. Leanos has transitioned from transaction-based commercial real estate brokerage to commercial real estate advisory work, thus leading the firm in a new direction and no longer providing real estate brokerage services.
Brokerage work has provided Mr. Leanos a firm knowledge base and pragmatic outlook for real estate advisory services throughout the Baltimore-Washington region, and the City of Philadelphia. Today, there are promising applications for this knowledge base, skill-set and proactive outlook to guide real estate investments, property acquisition strategies, project visioning, value estimates, feasibility testing of opportunity and timing, professional team building, identifying financial and tax issues, and gaining entitlements, to name many of the areas needing evaluation.
